Many people find counselling and therapy a helpful way of exploring issues and difficulties in their lives. Maybe you are coping with a sudden trauma or perhaps a loss.
Sometimes we have periods where things just get on top of us and there seems no clear way forward.
I can help you look at the way you deal with problems by offering a different perspective, or establishing a stronger sense of self belief and show you where negative thought patterns maybe holding you back.
If you feel you need extra support at the moment, or are trying to cope with any of the following, now might be a time where talking to a counsellor, someone outside of your immediate social or family circle could help,
Low self esteem or lacking in confidence
Anxiety / Panic attacks
Coping with a bereavement or loss
Relationship problems
Depression / Post natal depression
Family issues and tensions
Sexual, physical or mental abuse
Redundancy or stress in the workplace
Personal development
I have been counselling for six years Bristol and North Somerset working in a doctor's surgery and a family health centre. I see a wide range of people and work with both adults and teenagers.
My counselling room is in central Clifton, just off Whiteladies Road, Bristol,(also within easy reach of Bath and Weston-super-Mare) where I offer both long and short-term counselling.
